Safety-First Building and Maintenance

At Tectorio we prioritise the health and safety of our clients, employees, and the general public. We firmly believe that a safe working environment leads to increased productivity and overall satisfaction. That's why we take health and safety seriously and implement rigorous measures to ensure a secure environment for everyone involved.

Our commitment to health and safety starts with our in house Health and Safety Officer who assesses possible hazards and generates RAMS that the technicians have prior to starting works. Tool box talks will also be given by a member of staff on site. Training programs for our staff are also provided. All our employees receive regular training sessions that cover various aspects of occupational health and safety. This includes hazard identification, risk assessment, and safe work practices specific to our industry. We believe that well-informed employees are better equipped to handle potential risks and make informed decisions that prioritise safety.

All of our workforce are expected to read and digest any RAMS associated with a job before work commences. Our RAMS are always supplied by our Health and safety officer who is diligent in her work. All of our current workforce have green CSCS cards but we also put any new member to the team through this if they do not already have one so that everyone involved in the business are aware of their responsibilities in carrying out their work.

Here at Tectorio we believe that training and awareness in Health and Safety are paramount to keeping our employees safe and that of our customers. We have also ensured that multiple tradesmen and woman within our staff are covered for operating MEWP's by putting them through an IPAF operators course.

With all of the mentioned elements on this page that we have in place we are providing the correct measures that help our company stay compliant in all Health and Safety matters and are happy to say that we have not had a single incident where an employee, a member of the public or anyone else on site has fallen victim to bad practice.

We provide our employees with appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) to minimise the risk of accidents and injuries. Whether it's hard hats, safety goggles, gloves, or high-visibility clothing, we ensure that our staff has access to the necessary protective gear for their specific tasks. We also maintain our equipment and machinery regularly, adhering to strict maintenance schedules to prevent malfunctions that could compromise safety.

In the event of an incident, we have established clear protocols for reporting and investigating accidents. We believe that every incident provides an opportunity to learn and improve. Our team will thoroughly investigate the root causes of accidents or near-misses to prevent similar occurrences in the future. We are happy to say that we have not had to do this as a company.
